Chris is running because he’s passionate about working for the people of the four towns to make it more affordable by reducing the tax burden for businesses and families in Connecticut. As a long-time resident of Connecticut with a family of five, Connecticut has become too expensive for working families. He will work towards lowering the historic inflation on the cost of food and the price of fuel. He will oppose and fight any legislation or mandates not fully funded.
We need to invest in our law enforcement and give them the tools to do their jobs to keep our communities safe. Residents, parents, community leaders, and police are concerned about the rise in crime. Violent and repeat juvenile offenders need to be held accountable for their actions. Chris will prioritize addressing violent juvenile crime and support early intervention programs for repeat offenders to address the crime in Connecticut.
Parents need greater control over where their children get their education. Chris and his wife, Connie, both working in the education sector, decided to buy their home in Higganum, where their kids attend Regional District #17. Parents should have a say in their children’s education and what schools they attend. Chris promises to push the decision-making authority to local boards of education, where the community has a direct influence.
